Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, protect, and share your personal information, and the choices and rights you have.
Last updated: July 5, 2026
Core Connection Mobile Physiotherapy (“Core Connection,” “we,” “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website, in line with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and the privacy obligations of the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC). It does not replace the separate consent and confidentiality processes that apply to clinical care.
Information we collect
We collect only the personal information needed for the purpose you provide it:
- Contact & enquiry forms: your name, email, phone number, service area, program of interest, and anything you choose to write in the message field.
- Live education session registrations: your first and last name, email address, and which session you registered for.
- Course and resource sign-ups: your email address.
- Website usage & analytics:standard technical data (such as device and browser type, pages visited, referring site, and approximate location derived from your IP address) collected to serve and secure the website and to understand how it is used. We use Google Analytics for this purpose (see “Cookies & analytics” below).
Please do not submit detailed health information through website forms. Clinical information is collected securely during care, under a separate consent process.
How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and booking requests.
- To register you for a live education session and send you the joining details and any schedule changes.
- To deliver the resource or guide you signed up for.
- To send information you have asked to receive (you can opt out at any time).
- To operate, secure, and improve this website.
- To meet our legal and professional obligations.
We use your information only for the purpose it was collected for, unless you give new consent or the law requires otherwise. We do not sell your personal information.
Consent
We collect, use, and disclose personal information with your consent. You provide consent when you submit a form after reviewing this policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (see below); this will not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer provide certain services.
How we store and protect your information
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical steps to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Information submitted through the website is stored in access-controlled systems provided by our website hosting and database providers (our database is hosted with Supabase). Form notifications are delivered to us by our email provider, Resend.
Disclosure to third parties
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate the website and services (for example, hosting, database, email delivery, and website analytics), and only as needed for those purposes. Our analytics provider, Google, processes usage data on our behalf and may store it on servers outside Canada. We require these providers to protect your information. We may also disclose information where required or authorized by law.
Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law and professional standards. Clinical records are retained separately in accordance with CHCPBC requirements. Website enquiry and sign-up data is retained for up to 24 months after your last interaction with us, or until you ask us to delete it sooner, and is then securely deleted.
Your rights
Under BC privacy law, you may:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Withdraw consent to future use.
We will respond to access or correction requests within 30 business days, as required by law.
Cookies & analytics
This website uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: those needed for basic functionality, and those used for website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site (for example, pages viewed, time on page, device and browser type, referring site, and approximate location based on IP address). This helps us improve the website and our services.
Google Analytics sets cookies and processes this usage data on our behalf; Google may store and process it on servers outside Canada. We do not use it to identify you personally, and we do not use the data for third-party advertising.
You can control or refuse cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites by installing Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Children
This website and its resources are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without the consent of a parent or guardian.
